A. WHY THIS SUBJECT
This specimen deliberately contains no disaster, fraud, scandal, criminal allegation, political dispute, or casualty count.
The user question is ordinary:
“I have a USB-C cable. Will it connect this MacBook Pro to this Studio Display?”
The web often answers this badly because physical connector shape is allowed to stand in for protocol capability.
Counterpedia's job is different.
It should be able to decompose:

into a derived compatibility answer whose inputs are individually inspectable.
This exercises a different product primitive from the Demo Corpus Twelve:

Basis:
Mac host supports Thunderbolt 4 and DisplayPort.
Studio Display's upstream host port is Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C).
Apple explicitly says the USB-C Charge Cable does not support video.

POWER
